Love Bryan's voice. (Don't love his politics, though.)

ironic considering that it was a Labour govt which made it possible for the son of a coal miner (Ferry) to go to art college. Ferry is a great artist, but his politics are reprehensible

I'm a huge Roxy Music fan, especially the early stuff. But yet, I like everything that Bryan Ferry gets involved in.
He really does seem to be (or really seemed to be) a substance abuser, well into the 1980s, at least. People who are are preoccupied with their substances generally are not that politically knowledgeable, nor are they politically motivated, in general.
I hope that he is only minimally interested in politics. So yeah, I hope he is as politically apathetic as he is politically backward.
But, musically, Bryan Ferry is a very interesting, creative, and influential figure.

11. ABSOLUTELY one of favorite bands of all times |

They opened for Jethro Tull at their first performance at Madison Square Garden in the early 70's, and people were booing them. Brian Ferry had on a FULL LENGTH black evening gown and was spectacular.
