Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

Sorry for the late start. This morning was way more busy than I expected. And the afternoon seems to be as busy. Oh well. Busy is good, right?

Yesterday afternoon I was rather pissed off. I was wondering why we even have opening hours at our library - nobody seems to care. Won't get into the details, but I was not a happy camper.

1. Good Morning Miss Honeychurch :)
:hi:  :loveya: :pals:

Busy is good, the day seems to pass quicker. But not too busy. :)

I'm half nodding off again, I was up early. It's my vacation and I'll snore if I want to.

2. Good morning SCE
:hi:  :loveya:

I try to be not too busy. We will see how it turns out. I think I will vanish every now and then and not be at my desk the whole time. Have to get a bunch of books from the stack and some other tasks.

Go back to bed. And please sleep some for me. :D

3. You heard the lady
zzzzZZzzZzz :)

That's why I like taking delivery runs, it gets me away from the shop for an hour or so each day.

This is the perfect time for a nap. The time I usually head out the door. :)

The sleeping part, I can't do any type of dance. I can do the lawnmower really well though :) I'm sure the dancing part will be fun for you as well. :hi:

14. I wouldn't say I am dancing good
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 07:27 AM by MissHoneychurch
I have no feeling for rythm whatsoever. But it is fun to go out with friends, listen to music from the 80s, pretend to dance and maybe flirt a bit.

:D

Doing the "lawnmower"??????

17. I didn't invent the lawnmower
It's like how you start up a common lawnmower you pull an imaginary cord 3 times and then bend your elbows and pretend you're mowing the lawn. All of course to the rhthym of the music. It's actually pretty ridiculous but it's the only way I feel comfortable dancing is when it's obvious when I intend to be ridiculous rather then try to actually dance and look ridiculous.

I did invent the "microwave" You take an imaginary let's say TV dinner and put it in a imaginary microwave close the "door" with your left hand hand and then turn the dial to set the time. You cross your arms and bob your head to the music. When the food is "done" you open the door but this is the tricky part, when you get the "food" it's hot so you when you retrieve it you shake your hand likes it's hot and then drop the food.

Comedian Katt Williams is an inspiration for my many dance moves.
Very funny,

I do have that effect on people. When I was in the Army my friend's would often have me re-enact a few of those dance moves to people who never seen them before.

When I go to a club which plays HipHop and R&B I always get off the dancefloor when they start playing the "helicopter" song ... the guys go crazy ....

29. I couldn't tell
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 08:22 AM by JonLP24
It did make both women and men laugh which was good enough for me. I couldn't do it at a real club around a bunch of strangers. The times I did introduce the moves for the first time was at two birthday parties.

I do remember a friend was telling me, SSG Richardson was doing the "lawnmower" as well as couple other moves at a bar/club which I wasn't at but he was still attracting women to dance with him, he said they couldn't figure it out. Seriously the moves are ridiculous but the SSG is an attractive guy.

Love that picture! I loved that one yesterday especially, but was too late to post in your thread. Where are they taken, in Italy?

My day almost started badly, because I thought I was out of coffee. THAT would NOT be good, but at the last minute I found a hidden stash. Now I have to go to the store today.

Hope you day is going well and there are not too many annoying customers.
