Saw the ISS & the shuttle last night |

de-coupled and floating across the night sky, even from a brightly lit parking lot. Awesome! You can get times and directions for your own location: http://www.heavens-above.com/

2. If you're just mildly interested, just click on a date & you'll see |
|
the track for that day superimposed on a map of earth. Keep clicking date until you find one that puts the track near your home.
If you're more than mildly interested, register where it says to, and you can put in your location and it'll tell you when you can see a pass at your location. It takes a few minutes to familiarize: time is in 24 hour clock. "Alt" is degrees above horizon (higher # means higher up in sky) compass directions self -explanatory. Magnitude means how bright it will be: lower # = brighter, minus #s brighter than positive #s. Example: Venus at brightest is -4. Pass I saw last night was -1.4 and saw it very well in lit parking lot. Enjoy!
