How do I make a clingy boy go away?
Nicely, though. He's an okay person, just rather annoying at the moment.

He does not seem to comprehend that my life does not revolve around hanging out with him.

And I keep running into him on campus.

1. Get a cheap t-shirt and some fabric paints...
Use the paint to draw a guillotine with a penis in it, ready for execution. Wear it under a zip-up jacket. When you see him approach, casually unzip the jacket and pull it back to expose the "subtle" message. Have a conversation with him as if nothing is up.

4. Tell him it is hard to cruise with him around because people think you are in a relationship.
No offense to him and you end all illusions.

5. Anything but nice
Yes or no, nothing in between. Nice leaves doubt, which creates an opening. I guess you can say, "get the hell away from me" nicely, but, it just has to be definitive. I'd rather drown in the rejection of any sort, than swim in the amorphous goo of niceland.

8. How about "I need some time alone."
Honesty works well. When someone tries to spare my feelings I feel insulted and rejected.

9. Be absolutely honest.
The last time someone I was interested in, who was not interested in me, basically said as much, I thanked her for being honest.
