I went to high school with a man named Christopher M. Morrison. He became a senior vice president at Zurich Scudder Investments.
Chris was attending a conference on the 107th floor of the World Trade Center in New York City when the building was attacked by terrorists on Sept. 11. He was 34.
He left a wife, his parents, and two sisters.
A family friend is a retired airline pilot. For several years, he flew the Flight 11 rout out of Logan International Airport in Boston. he retired just a few months before 9/11.
For some folks, 9/11 is a chance to bloviate about their superior patriotism. For others, it's a time to rant about conspiracy theories. I hope that everyone can set this sort of thing aside for a day and remember the thousands of people whose lives were touched on that morning eight years ago.

Remember the families who last loved ones that day where the grief and horror of it all will never go away.

When it happened I was over a 1000 miles away but it felt as if I was there.A terrible shock. After that it took me several days to be able to close my eyes without seeing those damn planes hitting the buildings again and again. For the people who were there, who lost loved ones it must have been horrible beyond imagination. And still is.
