Global appliance suicide round two! |
|
I lost my stove (or cooker in the UK) back in July, a week later my mixer gave up the ghost. This morning I wake up to a note saying " do not use" taped to the microwave. I looked in and the side looks like it has been fried. NOT GOOD. Anyone else experiencing this? What next?????

I'm on rainwater here, pumped up from an in-ground tank. Except the pump died a week ago. Have had no water to the house till a new pump was installed today. Been living out of 20-litre water containers and sponge-bathing when I couldn't grab a shower at work. It's been primitive. Now it's over! I am soooo going to enjoy a shower in my own bathroom tonight. But I'm not even thinking about clearing the backlog of washing-up till tomorrow.
Meanwhile next week, must attend to the aging car radiator, which has started leaking (precious!) water. Gotta get the incontinent old thing replaced. Then wait for the third machine crisis. They always come in threes.

Well LG and I are sisters, must be in the genetic make up. All appliances crap out before their time.
