2. I have one and you need to have the correct plug in. There are typically five
settings for blender.

It really depends on how you like your margarita!!

:D

6. Just kidding. I have no real clue what Blender is.
Though AutoCAD is a really cool program.

8. Yes, AutoCAD is a cool program
:D

Have you used 2010 yet?

I'd love to learn Inventor, too, but would really like a good class in Civil 3D, expecially for all the 3D surface capabilities.

10. With the economy we are holding off on doing any upgrades.
I'd love to see the enhancements from 2007. Yeah, we're at that level.

11. Although I'm not working right now,
the little engineering firm I work at before would do upgrades regularly. I got to play around with 2010 though I don't recall if they fixed the major memory-handling problems of 2009 (yes, it's that bad; stay clear of that version.) And, unlike Office 2007, though AutoCAD 2010 does have ribbon menus, you can turn them off! Yayyyy! :D

2007 is a good, stable version, so whenever y'all can upgrade, request 2010 and bypass the others. I'm thinking the upgrade uses about four DVD install disks, too, so you'll need plenty of drivespace.
