3. My favorite Mason role is "Five Fingers" |
|
Mason is an Albanian, spying in the British Embassy in Turkey
My second favorite Mason role is as Ed Concannon in "The Verdict". I always think of this exchange betweek Jack Warden (Mickey) and Paul Newman (Frank Galvin) about Mason's character and the brain-dead victim:
<<Mickey Morrissey: Do you know who the attorney for the Archdiocese is? Ed Concannon!
Frank Galvin: He's a good man...
Mickey Morrissey: He's a good man? Heh, heh, he's the Prince of f***ing Darkness! He'll have people testifying they saw her waterskiing in Marblehead last summer. Now look, Frank, don't f*** with this case! >>
