it's called Sleep Dealer
it's a relatively low budget flick, with kind of a dreamy sci-fi flavor. it takes place in mexico.
it's spanish language, for those that hate subtitles, but i don't mind.
it's won numerous awards (sundance etc.) but is pretty under the radar.
i saw it at blockbuster and gave it a chance.
it really is great, thought provoking, etc.
very well done.
a bare minimum of violence/nudity for those who care. frankly, i can't even understand why it;s not PG (it's pg-13)
it speaks to a lot of issues about THE BORDER (tm) , as well as dehumanizing aspects of technology, etc.
oh, and District 9 rocked too!!!
