Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

How was your weekend? Mine was fun. Saturday after work I went to a club with two friends. 80s party :bounce: Gosh, I had such a great time. They played all the good music. I think I spent 2/3 of our time there on the dance floor. And I sure as hell feel it now. Ouch.

Yesterday after I finally made it in an upright position I started cleaning up a bit. As I told you already, my grandma, her brother and his wife are coming Thursday. And my condo needs to look good :D

Tonight and tomorrow night I will work at my second job, but I won't have to work there for the rest of the week. Also I took Thursday and Friday off, so I won't be online!!!!

Picture of the Day

5. Good morning Miss Honeychurch.
:hi: :loveya:

Aw, what a cute puppy dog! Whose puppy is that?

Glad to hear you had a great weekend dancing.

Nothing but work and watching tennis for me.

7. Good morning cwydro
:hi:  :loveya:

AirmensMom took care of him when he was young. But then he came in another family. I think he has a good home now.

I watched the first set of the semi-final yesterday. Boy, Federer sure had a hard time winning. But I am glad he did. I like him. And I hope he wins the final. I was amazed that Nadal lost though.
And Serena .... oh well, guess the pressure was too much for her.

8. Nadal is my favorite, so I was disappointed in that outcome.
The Serena match was just too bizarre for words.

I am a big Kim Clijsters fan, so I wasn't too upset, but I hate it had to end like that.

I'm also disappointed in Serena that she is not showing remorse for her actions. That stupid lineswoman was WRONG in every way (there was no foot fault), but that does not excuse Serena's actions.

11. Yeah, the Slams are pretty much finished for now.
I was watching the women's final this morning, since I had it taped...but didn't get to finish.

Unfortunately, because of being online, I will find out who won before I get home -I know.

I like both girls, so it really doesn't matter.

13. Good morning
I've been up all night reading science stuff. I think I have a blister on my brain.

I'm hoping that really soon I will have something to do on the weekends besides reading and doing my laundry. It's important for a man to have clean clothes and be informed about the world and such, but I really do need to get out more. I am having a conversation with yet another dating site canididate. The conversation is good, we've traded about 10 lengthy e-mails so far, but she is hesitant to turn loose of the phone number. It's understandable, I guess. She says she hasn't dated anyone for 4 years. She is intelligent and cute, but, like me, has some baggage. She is in treatment for a mental illness that is similar to the one I have. She also had two children before she was 20 in a marriage that ended disasterously. So, I'm alright if she wants to go slow. The good thing is that out of all of the women I've talked to from there she has the best brain, even if it does require medication.

Most times I am spending my weekends at home, esp. now that I work Saturdays. But I enjoy going dancing every now and then. :)

I cross my fingers that the lady will give you her phone number soon so that you can talk to her and take it to the next level.

I had a nice quiet weekend, once the computer troubles ended. I got a worm from an email and DainBamaged, redqueen and lots of other friends helped me get rid of it. I also played for the first time in two weeks after work Saturday. Talk about sore.

Back to work this morning. I'll be sneaking naps all over the place. ;)

20. Good morning MissH!
I'm running a little late, but wanted to pop in to say howdy.

Sheesh . . . I can't remember the last time that I went dancing. Glad to hear you had a good time, but I can certainly relate to the "after morning stiffness".

Had a great weekend. Rowed in the morning and went up north to a jazz festival. Went out for breakfast on Sunday, something I rarely do, but certainly enjoy.

So you have a short workweek - how very nice. And it'll be nice to visit with your grandma and the rest of the family.

:hi: :loveya:

23. Yes, my weekend was fun.
Maybe that's why I'm so tired this morning. ;)

Short workweeks seem to always be busy. We try to cram in five days worth of work into three and then we come back and try to catch up. Guess it's the nature of everyone's job.

It's good though that you are able to take off work so you can spend some quality time with your relatives.

Gotta pack my lunch and head out.

Wishing you a great day!

22. Good Afternoon, MissH!
that puppy is so cute! I love my cats, but recently, I've been really wanting a dog too.

My grandmothers both had their birthdays yesterday - one turned 74 and the other turned 90. I went to a birthday party for the one that turned 74, but the other lives across the country...so I called her. My aunt made dinner, and she can cook! It was good to see everyone.

I start classes tonight, so my life is probably going to be extremely busy again starting soon. :)

Sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you. My weekend was nice. I went to a football game on Sunday. Met up with a bunch of friends and we had a tail gate party before the game. Good food, good friends and good times. Best of all my team won their opening game.

44. Morning!
I had a great weekend. Had a wedding Friday night. I got really tipsy and danced all night.

Glad the weekend is over. I begin my non-smoking regime again. I bought a pack this past weekend for the wedding but have only bought two packs in the past two months (but have bummed a few cigs here and there at other times).

Time to stop again.

:) :hi:
