US robber returns to ask victim on a date

US robber returns to ask victim on a date

(AFP) – 4 days ago

CHICAGO — A US robber who went back to the scene of the crime to ask his victim out on a date was arrested after the woman chatted with him while her cousin called police.

Diana Martinez was parked in front of her Columbus, Ohio, apartment when three men pointed a gun at her head and stole her purse and her friend's wallet, local media report.

Martinez screamed and hit one of the men with her car door. They fled when a nearby neighbor threatened them.

But less than an hour later, Martinez spotted one of the men leaning against a banister overlooking the parking lot.

"He asked if I had a boyfriend," Diana Martinez told 10TV News.

Then he asked her out.

It looks like he is not the first or probably not the last one. Is only the male sex capable of such genius acts?

Alleged Robber Calls Victim to apologize and for a Date, Gets Arrested

NEW CASTLE, Del. - Police say a man involved in the recent robbery of a Domino's Pizza delivery woman would be a good candidate for "World's Dumbest Criminal."

Police say that after two men robbed the woman, one of them called the victim on his cell phone to apologize — and to ask her out on a date.

3. "Is only the male sex capable of such genius acts? " The answer is no.
And I say that from personal experience. I got robbed by a woman who left me her phone number.
