1. I voted "other" - my favorite Patrick Swayze role is in
"To Wong Foo: Thanks for everything, Julie Newmar." My favorite movie with Patrick Swayze in it is "Donnie Darko," but I REALLY didn't like his character. May Mr. Swayze rest in peace. He was a good actor and evidently a very good man.

2. To Wong Fu, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar
I loved that movie. It was a very empowering film and props to action hero/sex symbol Swayze for allowing himself to do something way different (like play a drag queen).

4. It's one of my all time favorite movies
I always say I'm the little old lady who clutches her book of movie star pictures and never talks to anyone...

14. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert was so much better.
To Wong Fu was better than a lot of Hollywood remakes of foreign films though.

17. I like both movies.
Both films had tough guys in dresses.

That took some guts.

6. Roadhouse. It's one of my "go-to" films.
Several times a year, easily, when I don't know what I'm in the mood to watch...

RIP, Dalton.

7. Gotta vote for Dirty Dancing
A cheesefest...but a cheesefest that I will stop and watch every time I come across it on cable. Every. Single. Time.

"Nobody puts Baby in the corner!"

Safe passage, Mr. Swayze.

37. One of the delights of watching that movie is noting all the editing
errors. A record plays after the phonograph needle has been lifted. Johnny takes off his jacket twice before the big finale. The sun is clearly shining as he and Baby take off in the rain - and lots more. Cheesy and poorly crafted, but entertaining as hell.

9. I didn't really like any of his movies
I don't have anything against him as an actor, I just never really liked his choice of films. I suppose Three Wishes I disliked the least.

I am sorry to see him go. He seemed like a very good person.

All those poor schmoes who think they're being cool (for their buds) by refusing to dance are seriously missing out on the babe action.

30. Ummm.....
I can't say that a man's dancing skills are at the top of my list. As a matter of fact, depending on the style of dance, it could actually be a turn-off for me. :hide:

36. I said dances well..lol.!
But my old dancing instructor told me something once...(and trust me he would know)..That a person who dances well is likely to have skills ELSEWHERE if you know what I mean.."Dancing is a vertical expression of a horizontal desire" or "sexual floorplay"

I was 13 years old when it came out, and I was studying dance fairly seriously - ballet and modern, though, not latin/ballroom.

41. Point Break
as a surfer, it's gotta be point break.

this is the ULTIMATE cheezy surf movie (well, not as cheezy as surf nazis must die... but pretty cheezy), but it's also a lot of fun.

i feel the same way about roadhouse.

i wasn't a huge ghost fan. it was ok.
