There is an interview with ex-Kiss member(and the only one with any talent) Ace Frehely and the interviewer mentions a poll on DemocraticUnderground.com that cites Ace as being the Kiss member people like most by 79%...

he's not too shabby a drummer, imho. Ace was a great lead player though, you could tell he had been studying his Clapton and Hendrix. Check out the lead on "Shock Me"...pretty tasty.
