Do you like "breakfast" for dinner?
Last night I made bacon & eggs with toast. An easy, quick, yummy dinner.

Last week after I got home from rehearsal, I was famished. I ate a pork chop and a bowl of cereal (not at the same time) because they were quick and easy. I wish I'd thought of eggs.

Do you like breakfast for dinner?

1. One of my FAVORITE dinners
I like scrambled eggs w/ some melted cheese on top, and a waffle on the side. At night, of course, decaf is in order.

It was fantastic.

5. If I didn't make "Scromlets" for supper
At least every couple weeks, my wife complains voiciferously.

The Scromlet is an omlet with ham, potato, cheese, sweet red peppers, and onions (me) or tomatos (her). It always falls apart when I try to fold it, thus Scromlet.
Serve with broiler toasted French bread - yum-o!

6. I can't eat for hours after getting up, so breakfast for dinner is the only time I'd get it.
I think bacon and eggs make a great dinner.

14. Yikes, I thought it was just me!
All those years of hearing "breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" and I am lucky to be able to manage an english muffin before 9am without wanting to chuck! :D

I wonder what that is about???

16. For me it's usually med related.
I feel pretty nauseous most mornings because of them, but as I have no thyroid anymore I have no choice but to take them...or die. :)

12. It's the only time I can eat "breakfast" --
If I eat too early or too much in the a.m., I get violently sick to my stomach. :puke: Most I can handle is maybe some hash browns and a muffin.

I tend to eat the big breakfast foods -- pancakes, waffles, (fake) sausage, (fake) bacon for dinner. And I love it! :loveya:

What's weird is I didn't fix breakfast for dinner when my kids were growing up. I do it a couple times a month now and my granddaughter loves it.

18. That is one of the few things I can make for dinner that nobody bitches about.
I could slave for hours on a gourmet dinner and it will be met with SOMEBODY bitching about something. Ten minutes in the kitchen with scrambled eggs, pancakes, (or french toast) and bacon and you'd think I am a master chef.

Hell yeah, I am good with breakfast for dinner!

23. Pancakes with apples or other fruit in them, ANYTIME!!!!!
Or bacon and eggs, etc.

I'm on a pretty tight diet right now, but for an occasional treat, a breakfast really makes me happy whenever I feel like making it.
BV, you are right yet again!!!!!

24. It's yummy, but eating eggs for dinner a lot will lead to packing on the pounds.
You need a more veggie oriented meal before sleeping, otherwise those calories settle down into fat and never burn off.

and so do my kids.

It's a "rare occurrence" - but for some reason it feels so, so, so - I dunno - homey? special?

32. I must be one of those weird people who don't
My parents liked to have pancakes and sausage for dinner a lot growing up. I liked it then, but now that I'm older I don't generally want breakfast food after 10:00 a.m.

Now coffee I can drink all day and never get tired of it.

four scrambled eggs with Picante sauce, three small fresh tomatoes and a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry jam. Washed it down with ruby red grapefruit juice.

38. Depends on the food.
There are lots of breakfast foods. Cereal, sausage, toast, pancakes, these are things I really don't like for dinner.

And yet, somehow, eggs and bacon are anytime foods, along with biscuits, muffins, any type of pastry...I'm weird.

39. Yes of course.
Bacon or ham and eggs, some hash-browns, slice or two of toast and a small glass of OJ make a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner for me. I used to have a bowl of cereal for a late night snack but now I can't do milk so well anymore... I DO miss eating a bowl of cereal nowadays.
