7. Dude! You just violated your own rule! Nice going cboy! |

And I quote from Forkboy...
Every team has its share of Repubs and dirtbags. There's no escaping it as a sports fan. For me, it's only an issue when the owners/athletes enter the political arena and start spouting nuttery, a la Curt Schilling. Otherwise, I do my best to keep my politics and my sports separate. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but for the most part the political leanings of these guys don't bother me much.

It's all in fun. I don't really judge the team or it's fans by the actions of the owners. It's not your fault Jones is a Republican loving smeghead. :)
And it could be worse...look at the Chargers numbers!

11. Well, to put that in perspective... |
|
As you all love to say Jones paid off the legislators in TX (who for the most part are rethugs) ot get his stadium. Bob Kraft on the other hand did not have the luxury of paying off rethugs in MA to get his stadium and screw Connecticut, so he was left paying off Democrats to get his way. There was only a $30K difference in the two spent.
