In the spring/summer of 2006, I was addicted to Guiding Light.
It started innocently enough, too.

I'd normally watch our local noon news on CBS and right after that, Guiding Light would start. I'd keep it on in the background while I did other things around the house. But over time, started following the story in bits and pieces and became addicted.

The story back then was Reva's battle with cancer and how she was hiding it from everyone, especially Josh. Josh was dating her sister and of course, hints that maybe they'd get back together. The reason I kept watching was because I wanted to see Josh's reaction to Reva's cancer, since he had kinda treated her like a dick for her erratic behavior.

But you know soap story lines. They're so fucking long and span months that I eventually lost interest. Especially when school started again.

Why do I bring this up? Well I saw on the front page of Yahoo Guiding Light is about to air its last episode.

I am such a puss sometimes.
