Marshall Tucker Band / This Ol' Cowboy
http://www.youtube.com/v/GHq87F2fS-s&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x402061&color2=0x9461ca

Well I'm sittin down in San Antoine'
waitin' on the eight o'clock train
My woman left me here last night
things ain't been quite the same

I gotta get back to Dallas
and tie up a few loose ends
I'm gonna work a week
make a hundred dollars
ahhh hit the road again

So I don't want you to think
that you the first one
to leave me out here on my own
'cause this ain't gonna be
the first time
this ol' cowboy
spent the night alone

Well Honey I've been a fool
but a bigger fool
I can't remember when I've been
Just to open up my heart
and let you walk right in

But there's one thing in life
that ain't hard for me to do
and thats as soon as I kiss
the lips of another women
I'm gonna forget all about you

So I don't want you to think
you the first one
to leave me out here on my own
'cause this ain't gonna be
the first time
this ol' cowboy
spent the night alone

Ah if you wrote all
the womens' names
that I've know'd
and let me pick one out
I don't believe there be one
in the whole bunch
Ah I'd give a hoot about

So I don't want you to think
that you the first one
to leave this ol' boy out
here on his own
No it ain't gonna be
the first time
this ol' cowboy
spent the night alone

No it ain't gonna be
the first time
this ol' cowboy
spent the night alone

3. The first time I ever say cocaine was at Toy Caldwell's house...
as a teen, one of my friends had an older brother who was friends with the band. One afternoon, he took us over to Caldwell's house.
Although, Caldwell teased me about my David Bowie T shirt, he was a perfect host and pulled out a freezer bag of blow.
A nice guy. Rest In Peace.

4. Ahhh the Marshall Tucker Band
And like other stars who "found Jesus" in the 80's (I never knew he was hiding) - they never went conservative.

Stayed Pro-Labor Dems
