Do you ever go back and look at your first DU posts?

I did tonight. I don't know what my very first post was, but here's one that might be it or very near the time I stopped being a lurker:

And despite how it looks there (being friendly and helpful) I still managed to make some enemies about five months later ;) Different posts and threads but replies almost to the level of being called a Freeper. I suspect I'm on ignore by a few; I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but it does.

So, what were y'all's first posts and how well were you received? :)

10. I have tried several times to look up my older posts

about the first battle I had with a Carolina Wolf Spider when we moved into the house where we currently live. I had seen wolf spiders before, but not as big as the ones in this neighborhood.

Anyhow, I wrote a funny epic story about how I did battle with this spider. This certain spider actually moved out into the open and made me come out from my little "safe spot" in the foyer. He did that to try to get ME to come out into the open, then he lunged at me. It was an epic battle. He outwitted me for a long time that night. I couldn't believe how advanced his tactics were.

It's all so funny in hindsight. That's why I went ahead and wrote a funny post about it, but I cannot find that post no matter how I search.

I have no clue what words I used back then or how I told the story, but it was funny. I wish I could find that post, because I am trying to save my funnier ones for my aunt to read when I get some more printer ink.

My feelings on the topic of Depleted Uranium Oxide poisoning have not changed but sadly, my viewpoint of what to be alarmed about has been dramatically increased. btw my reaction to the topic of DU-Oxide poisoning is why I chose my name chknltl. Prior to joining DU I recall spending perhaps too much time speaking to strangers on this topic. I still warn folks about it but I am no longer running up to strangers 'chicken little style' to do so.
