This weekend I was riding with the BF when his .mp3 player started hammering out this tune. It seemed aggressive, powerful but with a sex kittenish undertone. I checked the display and it's Joan Jett, whom I've heard OF but never really heard anything by her. I asked if she were new and he laughed saying she was from the 80's.

Most female singers these days leave me cold because they pass themselves off as little more than fawning, submissive sex toys, but Joan Jett seemed to have a certain sense of self-assurance mixed with her sexuality. I might have to download me some JJ and chase the BF around the living room.
