It would be perfect if I didn't have a 8 am meeting to be at for early voting.

Why 8 am, 10 would be much better.

1. My dear texanwitch...
We don't have fall weather yet, but it's cool enough in the evenings to turn off the A/C, and let the light breeze in...

I hear you about an 8 AM meeting! :scared:

That's way too early. Maybe you'll have some of the day left afterward?

Hang in there, sweetie...

4. We will be done by 11or 12 noon at the latest.
The place is across town so we have to leave by 7am to get there in time.

Well, I will make $35.

I slept late today so I am not tired now.

I already know the stuff anyway.

If I go to bed I will be tired in the morning.

I will have to be up by 6 am, get dressed and pick up two people.

I hate mornings.

2. The silence when I put the fans away drives me nuts.
Edited on Wed Sep-23-09 11:43 PM by Forkboy
I'm so used to it all summer long (well, I break them out in April and will put them away in November), that when they're not on the silence is deafening to me. I always end up with the tv on real low all winter long just for a dash of sound when I go to bed, or I put some messed up ambient music on (of which I have tons).

Sorry you have to get up early. I hate mornings even more than the silence. :)

5. It is warm enough here that I use a fan all year.
I can't sleep without the fan on.

7. No air conditioners are humming in suburbia.

We have all of our downstairs windows open, it's really nice. Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love it when when Houston gets it's first cool day after summer. We sleep with a box fan on all year round too.

Bummer about the early morning you have tomorrow.

8. It seems summer will never end but then a nice fall day does come.
I need the sound of the fan, can't sleep without it.

I have a small fan I take to the hotel for my convention.

9. We've been enjoying that, too.
I'm getting to the point where I don't even like the feel of AC. I wish it weren't so necessary during the summer.

:hi:

11. I need a fan or ac noise at night.
Otherwise I wake up to every train. Train horns at night can carry for miles across the farm fields.

If you know that old tune Shave and a hair cut two bits...there was one who used to toot that little tune.

12. It was 60 degrees yesterday!
I predict my electric bill to drop by at least $100 this fall and winter.
