A mother has given birth to a giant baby boy weighing over 19 pounds, to the shock of both parents.

A full two-feet long and weighing 8.7kg, the huge child was born via a caesarean section at a hospital in Sumatra, Indonesia.

He's the biggest baby ever born in the country. The unnamed baby is in healthy condition despite initially needing oxygen to overcome breathing problems
