I got a job!!

I was not in good shape. Unemployment is scary as hell. I had enough money to pay all my bills for only about one more month. I have a stellar credit rating, and for some reason I was worried more about destroying that than I was worried about living in my car.

I had quit my job in Texas to move to Alabama to be closer to my children and grandchildren, so I wasnt even eligible for unemployment benefits. I have not been sleeping, not been eating and I have been having panic attacks. And I am not one to be prone to anxiety except in the very worst of times.

The pay is decent and it is just a few miles from my house. I am happy !!

I can't remember the last time I worked "just a few miles from my house"

I'm jealous.

10. I know, once I had an hour drive each way

and it took gas money and made my day two hours longer. But, on the bright side, I had two hours a day to just think and not have to worry about doing anything but drive. I got to listen to music and relax for two hours, as it was mostly driving in the country.
