Someone tell me why we haven't perfected a way to do this...

2. Yes - but even if I fork over $1K for the lunch, it still takes 2-3 hours to get there
And that's being optimistic

3. Bullet trains would make this a reasonable lifestyle choice for 1/4th of Texans & half of Arkansas

7. No offense to Texas, but that place is not the kind of place a city should be
Neither is New Orleans, but NoLA makes up for that in culture, love and beauty

Houston has none of these

9. I could
If I wanted to.
I work for a regional carrier for Delta Airlines and can fly anywhere as a "standby passenger".

If I would fly to New Orleans, it would likely be for a weekend.
I'd be more apt to head to Memphis for some BBQ and to visit a friend of mine.

10. Um, both would be nice
Memphis BBQ, NoLA Cajun, Texas BBQ - can't tell me that doesn't sound like the perfect weekend!
