My job interview didn't go so good. |
|
He asked me where I see myself in 5 years.
I said "I post a lot of crap".
Then he asked me what my skills were.
I said "LOL".

There are those who like to nudge things with their foot. They have issues about stick poking.

9. Just tell them, "here" |
|
and work in, while looking suitably abashed, that "I'm a bit of a workaholic."
They'll love you. And they'll hire you.
But they will tend to stick you in the back somewhere, isolating you from the public, the other employees, and the paying customers. Oh, and they'll shovel work in over the transom every two hours, whether you need more or not. Whenever this happens, just yell over the transom "thank you sir! May I have some more sir?" And you'll have steady employment until the day after they declare Chapter 11. At which point you will be stiffed for the last two weeks, plus one day, of work. But they'll still love you.
That is all.

10. Oh, the stories I could tell you... |
|
As you may be able to surmise, I am somewhat out of my fucking mind. I suffer from debilitating depression.
I am highly genetically predisposed to this...but my "trigger" was work related. I was put through some shit in the early 90's that no human should have to endure, nor would be able to.

12. I'd guessed that you'd |

been put through a wringer. The other part I did not because, if you are describing it accurately, you've learned to hide it well. Which is how men of a certain age were raised to act. In the end, we are all captives of our circumstances and upbringing.
