6. I still have to hit the grocery store. Can't drink until I get back. |
|
My wife forgot to leave the only set of keys for the van this morning so I have to wait until she gets home. That sucks.

14. Doesn't work that way in PA (mostly) |
|
You have to buy it by the case at a distributor to get anything even CLOSE to a decent price. Bars sell six packs at about double the case unit price. There's a back-and-forth going on with Sheetz over selling six packs in convenience stores. The grocery stores are out of the loop except for wine sales - but that's a sub-store within a store. PA is lost in an old world when it comes to alcohol.

18. I always get confused in PA... |

In NY, you have "liquor stores" where you can but anything but beer.
You cannot buy anything BUT beer in grocery or convenience stores, not even wine.
Beer is bought in package stores, grocery stores, some drug stores, and convenience stores.

When I was young and in love for the first time a nooner had another meaning with another kind of head. Now it means a cold brew with a foamy head.
