This morning, I woke in Istanbul, eating breakfast on the hostel's rooftop terrace with a view of the Bosporus. Tonight, I sleep on this side of the world in my own bed. I wish I had more time to explore. Cappadocia is brilliant. Except during Ramadan. At 3 am every morning drummers would march through the streets banging to wake up the women (and everyone else) so they could prepare food before sun rise. Photos will come tomorrow...if I'm awake enough.
Two weeks without news. Except an Aussie chick in a hostel told me that Patrick Swayzie dirty danced to the ancestors.

A pity I was in travel mode, where I don't eat because I'm so busy on walkabout exploring.
In Faralya, I stayed at a pension (George House) where they grew most of their own food. Great. On the second night, we were waiting just to eat.
