today is my third year anniversary.. dating anniversary that is ..

Love, love, love!
Three years ago, a co-worker asked me out to breakfast before her three day shift (she worked 10AM Sat - until 12pm monday). I had missed her phone call, but agreed to meet her next weekend.
Monday came, and she was going off shift.
I asked her if she would like to have lunch with me.
She agreed.
We stopped at an ATM, so that I could treat.
A taxi-cab parked in the road that the bank was on. It looked like he was waiting to make a right. He wasn't. He had just parked in the road.
I honked a gentile liberal honk. Twice. The kind of honk that says "dear Sir, we are waiting for you to proceed."
The cabbie just sat there.
So I bumped him. I pulled up just enough to touch his bumper. Then I started to reverse. My friend was following in her car.
The cabbie got out and started yelling. I asked if he was alright. I asked why he was parked in the middle of the road. He yelled in a foreign language. I replied that I was glad he was all right, then drove around him.
My girlfriend saw him talking to me, but had no idea what had happened.
We then went to an independent Mexican restaurant on the corner of Ann and Mill Street. The place doubled as a latino night club. Apparently it also tripled as a latino brothel. The food was not too hot.
So three years ago today I went on my first date with my girlfriend. And we've been together since. Bumped cabbies and yucky food and all!
