Post your turner-uppers here!
The local radio station has this thing that they call 'The Turner-Upper of the day' where they have people submit their favorite songs to crank the radio to. I'm curious what everyone here would post. Here's one of my favorites:

"Black" by Sevendust

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZNF3UT4AjE

Voices call, they call out my name, (my name, my name)

They say Im different well Im not the same (the same)
You say you want
To be like me (like me, like me)
Well boy let me tell you,
You didnt know what Ive seen.

2nd verse

They say the devil
Lives in my soul
(my soul, my soul)
I promise not to let him
Take control

Chorus

Im minding
My own business.
I aint doing
Nothing wrong
I aint doing
Nothing wrong.

3rd verse

Shadows follow
So close behind me
I look in the mirror
I dont like what I see.

Oh god, cant you help me
Get out of here?
(here, here)

I feel like Im living
Deep in hell.

Chorus

Im minding
My own business
I aint doing
Nothing wrong

(black)

Chorus

Im minding
My own business
I aint doing
Nothing wrong

Im minding,
Im minding my own.
I aint doing
Nothing wrong
I aint doing
Nothing wrong

Nothing wrong

1. What god wants
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdeXsePZjnI&feature=related

boy:] "I don't mind about the war, that's one of the things I like to watch, if it's a war going on, 'cause then I know if our side's winning, if our side's losing..."
(switch channels)
What God wants God gets God help us all
What God wants God gets (repeated)
The kid in the corner looked at the priest
And fingered his pale blue Japanese guitar
The priest said:

God wants goodness
God wants light
God wants mayhem
God wants a clean fight

What God wants God gets
Don't look so surprised
It's only dogma
The alien prophet cried
The beetle and the springbok
Took the Bible from its hook
The monkey in the corner
Wrote the lesson in his book
What God wants God gets God help us all

God wants peace
God wants war
God wants famine
God wants chain stores

What God wants God gets

God wants sedition
God wants sex
God wants freedom
God wants semtex

What God wants God gets
Don't ok so surprised
I'm only joking
The alien comic cried
The jackass and hyena
Took the feather from its hook
The monkey in the corner
Wrote the joke down in his book
What God wants God gets

God wants borders
God wants crack
God wants rainfall
God wants wetbacks

What God wants God gets

God wants voodoo
God wants shrines
God wants law
God wants organised crime
God wants crusade
God wants jihad
God wants good
God wants bad

What God wants God Gets

2. The Hand That Feeds

By Nine Inch Nails

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJN2SPUcXTQ

You're keeping in step
In the line
Got your chin held high and you feel just fine
Because you do
What you're told
But inside your heart it is black and it's hollow and it's cold

Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?

What if this whole crusade's
A charade
And behind it all there's a price to be paid
For the blood
On which we dine
Justified in the name of the holy and the divine

Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?

So naive
I keep holding on to what I want to believe
I can see
But I keep holding on and on and on and on

Will you bite the hand that feeds you?
Will you stay down on your knees?

8. Intro/Sweet Jane - Lou Reed from Rock n Roll Animal
Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner's guitar work on Intro still gives me goosebumps.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FdWPeHFAMk&feature=related

Standing on the corner
suitcase in my hand
Jack's in his corset, Jane is in her vest
me, honey, I'm in a rock 'n' roll band
Ridin' in a Stutz Bearcat, Jim
you know those were different times
All, all the poets they studied rules of verse
and those ladies they rolled their eyes

Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane

Jack, he is a banker
and Jane, she is a clerk
and Both of them save their money
when they come home from work
Sittin' down by the fire
radio does play, look classical music there, kids
The March Of The Wooden Soldiers
you can hear Jack say

Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane

Some people like to go out dancing
and other people like us, we gotta work
And there's even some evil mothers
they're gonna tell you that everything is just dirt
And you know that women never really faint
and that villains always blink their eyes
That children are the only ones who blush
and that life is just to die

Anyone who ever had a heart
and wouldn't turn around and break it
Anyone who ever played a part
and wouldn't turn around and hate it

Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane

Sweet Jane, Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane, oh honey, Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane, oh, Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane, Sweet Jane
