Just sayin'

When she was a baby, she cried alot. So being the caring parents they are, they fed her barbiturates to stop her from crying. This continued throughout her life, being practically born with this addiction.

1. She's always fascinated me - I'd love to see a really great biopic movie done about her
And no, that crap schlock they did a few years ago doesn't count. That was horribly done. Only reason Sienna Miller gets jobs is because she's notorious for busting up marriages (Jude Law and Balthazar Getty). And we all know how talented Hayden "Darth" Christiansen is.

Perhaps a real biopic will be done with some first rate actors - I would go see that movie!

6. Have you listened to her tapes?
Chilling, disturbing, funny and beautiful all in their own way.

I've always had this crush on her...

3. Yes, there was that too...
Bob Dylan didn't know what to do with her

On one hand, he loved her (he'd never admit it though) on the other, she was too fucked up for words...

I've known people like her...and can totally see the "muse" thing

4. She was the inspiration behind "Just Like A Woman," wasn't she?
Which is a song that, in Dylan's typical contradictory way, manages to be both tender and vicious all at once...

7. As a corollary, just because your parents feed you barbs doesn't mean you're happy
Sigh, if only someone had told me this back when my kid was young... and not addicted.
