Was I a witness to hamburger abuse?

this happened in New Orleans about 20 years ago.

me and some pals were out juicing at a liquor buffet and decided to get hamburg steak sangwiches at some eating emporium or other.

this obviously mentally unhinged man started punching his hamburger until a cop told him that under Napoleonic Law, he could be placed under arrest for abusing a hamburger.

i wonder how the hamburger felt?

i was traumatized by this and still have issues that i am working through related to things like this. my therapist told me to construct a sandwich narrative to create a process to work through this.

sometimes i do feel better about myself and my relationship with sandwiches, but my sponsor says i am one BLT away from relapse on any given day.
