Two people may experience the same person very differently
i used to get upset with duer's who would constantly wax poetic about someone who was really an asshole to me, but now i have realized that the same person may have been a real doll to someone else.

the same person can be witty and wonderful and interesting to one person, and insanely petty to a another.

now, i fully understand that this OP is somewhat trite and platitudinous. still, its probably a useful thing to keep in mind

2. Trite and Platitudinous are two of the most overlooked characters in Hamlet.

There's a lot to be learned from their dialog with Laertes in Act II.

3. I would have nothing to do with anyone that acts like an asshole to others
I really don't care if they treated me well or not. Beyond the ethical consideration of not wanting to be supportive of rotten people, there is the selfish motives. I figure anyone that is rotten to others will eventually get around to me, as soon as the motive for their niceness is no valid.

however there are usually tip offs. They say you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat waiters and waitresses, for example.

Never mind love me!

But I do expect (in vain, alas) people to be polite.

14. Agreed, and it is good to be reminded of that once in a while.

Like the saying that "No two people have the same parents." Took me a while to figure that one out, but it is so true.

23. nope.
i'm the arbiter of who is cool and who isn't.

if i think someone is a dick, they probably are.

people only hate me because i am so righteous.

the best part is, i could not give two fucks what many people think. in fact, i wish my ass was big enough so that they could all kiss it.

and i have a pretty big butt.
