I am no longer a Trader Joe's virgin! |
|
we had a staff retreat today, hence a half day, and the woman from the office next door to mine heard me talking about shopping. She said she was going over to TJ's and said she'd take me.
Now this was a very big deal for me! There are no TJ's in Hawai'i (they've asked, but Joe isn't interested). I am now in possession of, among other things, popcorn with olive oil, two kinds of hummus, uncured hot dogs, and an onion trio (one red, one white, and one yellow).
No, no Three-Buck (Up)Chuck, as it's quite a hike to the rail line; a tiny community bus (really van) comes by every hour whether you need one or not (unless, of course, it's Sunday). :eyes: So, just like with that other kind of virginity, it could be quite some time before my next encounter...

1. You're not allowed back there either, then? |
|
Oh - you just mean you shopped there. Never mind.

2. I lost my TJ virgnity 30 years ago. |
|
I moved away from TJs to the east coast 14 years ago and, and, and ....
TJs followed me and set up shop just a mile away. Our relationship continues.
