Mr. Lipschitz, new in Miami, is lonely. He wonders how to make friends.
He always notices an entourage around Mr. Goldberg, so one morning, he screws up his courage and butts in on a monologue Goldberg is having with his crew.

"Hey, Goldberg," says Lipschitz, "tell me how you make friends in this town."

Goldberg rolls his eyes, winks at his posse, and says, "Get yourself a camel. Ride it up and down Collins Avenue for a week. At the end of the week, you'll have a whole busload of friends. Any more dumb questions?"

"No," says Lipschitz. "Thanks a lot!"

Lipschitz runs off, buys a paper and eagerly leafs through it. In the back, by amazing coincidence, he finds a notice of a local circus in need of capital. Pretty soon, he's got himself a camel, which he promptly begins riding up and down Collins Avenue. A couple of days later, he parks the camel outside a drugstore, goes in to buy his suppositories. When he comes out, the camel is missing!

He calls the police.

"I'd like to report a stolen camel."

"A stolen *what?*" comes the response.

"Camel. Arabian denomination."

"How tall is the camel?"

"I dunno... Camel height."

"What color?"

"Camel-color. It was a camel-colored camel."

"Boy or girl?"

"How should I know what sex it was?" Lipschitz thinks a second. "Oh... wait a minnit, wait a minnit... It was a boy camel. Definitely a boy."

"Definitely a boy? How do you know it was a boy?"

"I distinctly recall several occasions when I was riding it up and down Collins Avenue when I heard someone say, 'Hey! Get a load of the schmuck on that camel!'"
