2. It must have struck a nerve with a lot of people.
Sunk like a rock - probably the equivalent of an uncomfortable silence. :)

Sorry to leave ya hangin' out there by yourself - I didn't see this until Flaxbee kicked it and for SOME unknown reason I'm still awake and online.

Thanks for sharing.

3. It took me too long to learn #5
Knowing I'm going to fail and accepting that not everyone will like me were the two hardest lessons for me to learn. The other truths were easy to accept fortunately.

5. I have no problem with those two; but the
one about transforming your life is really tough for me right now because if I transform it in a way I'm contemplating (and of course if the opportunity arises), it will wreak havoc with many other lives, the lives of people I love dearly.

So I'm at a crossroads: myself, or those I love?

10. hmmm....
That does sound tough. Without knowing your situation, I would say that unless your decision seriously hurts others or puts them in harms way, then do what is best for you. People who love you will be able to handle whatever changes you make as long as it's clear to them that this is good for you.

Loving someone means you always want what's best for them even if you don't always understand what it is they need.

6. Those are pretty good.

The basic points are cool.

Live life for the moment

Accept what is, even if things don't go your way

Happiness is here, right now if you stop resisting and start accepting

Thanks for posting those!

13. For what appears to be a very young writer
the wisdom is quite impressive. He has figured out, at a young age, what many of us take decades if not a life time to figure out.

14. carpe diem!
Which I think means "holy fish", right?
