Post movie or TV scenes that are relatively inconsequential but brilliant
post scenes that mean little to the overall plot of the movie but are simply brilliant.

The audition scene in "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang"

The best part of that scene is that you have no idea whether Robert Downey Jr is really affected by his partner's death or if he's really trying to act as the script is very similar to his reaction. It's a brilliant scene for Downey Jr.

2. The opening scene of the first episode of "The Wire":

It has no relation to the rest of the episode, but it sums up the feel of the show perfectly, especially the last line.
