I remember when I could get it for 5 cents a pack. I've been looking for several months, and haven't seen it for less than 20 cents a packet now.

How the hell are stereotypical college kids surviving these days?

Seriously, though, no, I don't know what your parents are like. But I do feel sorry for the college students whose parents still don't think the child has grown beyond age 8.

My college diet wasn't too bad, since I was in a fraternity and we had a cook for lunch and supper.

because we were on an enforced meal plan, and "bon appetite" displayed rather dismal cooking abilities. I lived on milk. Literally. Did a month long food study for a nutrition course, and something like 80 percent of my necessary nutrition came from milk.

How can anyone afford Ramen anymore, though. Seriously. 20 cents per packet. Hell, I'm not in college anymore, and I can't afford it now.

AALette's birthday was coming up. I told her she could have anything she wanted for her birthday meal and I would cook it. Her choice? "Ramen noodles!"

Have it all the time actually, probably as much now as in college. I don't usually use the flavor packets though.

16. You have to buy it at the cheap stores in bulk. Big Lots will get you a 6pk for under a buck

I got a 12 pack for like $1.88 at ALDIS. It's probably not really worth it because it is so bizarrely high in fat and of course madcap sodium. It might be here though, Louisville is still pretty cheap.
