I like how he won even though he was injured, and just came through by dogged attention to detail and force of will. He totally demontrated toughness of character and mental focus just to stay in it every day, so I'm really satisfied that he got it.

2. Gotta luv 'im! He deserved to win, especially considering how much pain he was working through. |
|
What amazed me tonight was when he had to prepare a dish using authentic ingredients from India; and although he knew nothing about Indian cuisine, when it came to choosing any protein to include in his concoction, he'd heard that beef was taboo and, so, decided to use pork instead (a no-no with Muslims in India, he learned). Yet, despite that boo-boo, all three top chefs (Mexican, Chinese, and Indian}, chose Dave's dish over the other two for taste and presentation.
Hooray for Dave! We applauded when that door opened.

We have to download the show a day after it airs so we haven't seen the finale yet. THANKS A LOT! I hated that guy and I have to find out this way that he won?? You Pigs! :grr:

6. I didn't give anything away - I'm sorry that you couldn't wait to click on this thread |

I posted it before the ending of Hell's Kitchen.
Seems pretty obvious that it would likely have someone post afterward confirming who won.

We download it ONE day after the show. Now I've had to tease my husband about how I know who wins and he's all pissed off at me for not telling him and we have some real discord going on in this household now. And I have to watch the double episode tonight knowing that the one armed asshole won.

You better not tell who wins tonight! I personally don't really care for Kevin but I think he's a good chef who might deserve to win. Unfortunately, I can't watch it until tomorrow night! UGH.
DU is dead to me until Friday morning I guess.
Carry on.
