1. If the story focused on his friendship with Marlon Brando...

They were friends from childhood. When Wally Cox died, his ashes were given to Brando so that he could dispose of them. After Brando died, Cox's ashes were discovered in Brando's home. The ashes of both men were mixed together and scattered.

Brando often said that the perfect life for him would have been spending it with Wally Cox somewhere.

Not only is there the facial resemblance but people were surprised that Cox had such an athletic build, also like Maguire.

Who would be cast as the people closest to him? His co-star in the TV series "Mr Peepers" was Tony Randall and he was friends with Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe and Robert Blake.
