On Monday after I got home from work, I was making myself dinner and I hadn't given Esther her evening meal yet. So I'm going back and forth from the kitchen to the table and on the 3rd trip from the kitchen, Esther is sitting on the floor in the way, next to where I keep her food. She looks up at me, I look at her, she stares at me, then lets out the saddest little "meow." I damn near melted, put down my food and went and fed her.

She's got me wrapped around her little paw, lol.

1. They create a never-ending tsunami of cuteness.
This morning I woke up at the bottom of a catpile. Right now Milo is sleeping all cutely curled up in his little heated cat bed. There's so much ongoing furry cuteness around here that I can't even describe it.

2. I've been home sick the last couple of days
And at one point while sleeping, Smokie came over and curled up right next to my face..I woke up to a gentle purr and I opened my eyes to see her looking in my face...It was like she was saying "feel better soon, mommy"

3. O'Malley
O'Malley can't wait to get into my lap after I get home from work. She situates herself on my right side, with her hip on my thigh and her head up at my boob. Then she'll lift her head and give me this melting look. Sooo cute. Then it's play time. We play Growl Like a Tiger and Bite the Hand. The sight of her with her whiskers stiff out and her little mouth half open is the cutest thing on earth.

Then, of course, there's whenever anyone finds a (toy) mouse to play with.

And then there's Daddy when he attacks the laser dot.

There's just too much cuteness at the Waldorf Cat Haven.

7. I came upstairs yesterday and found mine completely buried in the blankets on my bed.
Just the tip of his little face was sticking out. I said, "Kitty, what are you doing?" and he stuck his whole head out and meowed at me. Then, he crawled back under the blankets.

8. Puked all over a half-finished jigsaw puzzle.
Okay, that wasn't the cute part. Being cute kept her from getting the living shit choked out of her.

9. My 17-year-old female has been acting like a kitten.
Last night she was in her "I need to explore the house" mode and I kept putting her up on different shelves and opening drawers and cupboards for her. When she went into my dresser and I removed a couple drawers so she could check it out she was just purring and purring and had the perkiest, curious kitten look on her face. :loveya:

11. Awww.
Its amazing how when I cat really gets interested in something they can ignore annoyances like water running on their head!

12. My cat accidentally dialed the SPCA cruelty hotline
I have it on speed dial and he--Mad Max--stepped on the key with his paw.

Or was it "accidentally on purpose" because I wouldn't get up to feed him at 5 in the morning?

13. Well, Lana got upset with me when I put a santa hat on her
Lana is a gorgeous himalayan (and does she ever know it). I had one of those santa hats for cats and thought I would put it on Lana, take a nice picture, and use it for a Christmas card. Needless to say, Her Royal Highness refused to cooperate, gave me the dirtiest looks (which she is very good at) and refused to lift her head and look so I could take a picture. Now she's sitting here, glaring at me, tail twitching away. Probably plotting to get even with me for even considering this.

14. Mine tips his water glass over (yeah, he won't drink out of a bowl) and sends it across the room
if it's not filled right to the top.
