There was this 911 dispatcher who got an urgent call from somewhere in the woods...

...and when the dispatcher asked, "What is your emergency?" this is the answer she got:

"Oh, gosh darn it, hi, I'm Sarah Palin, and I think my husband Todd is dead!"

"Calm down, Ms. Palin," the dispatcher responded. "Can you tell me what happened?"

"Oh, gee, Tood and I were taking a break from the book tour, y'know, out in the woods to hunt some wolves or maybe find us a moose or something, and all of a sudden, Todd clutched his chest and slumped onto the snow! He's not moving at all!"

"Try to stay calm, Ms. Palin," the dispatcher continued, "I'm notifying a MedEvac chopper to come to your aid, okay? But are you truly certain that Todd is dead? Can you please check to make sure for me?"

"Okay, here goes..."

The dispatcher hears the phone drop in the snow, then there is silence for a moment - until a shotgun blast rings out. A moment later, the dispatcher hears Sarah's voice again:

"Okay, now what?"
