We were VERY creative (not!): Puffy, Snowy, Whitey, Midnight!!!!

The only original one was Yudi, which is Lithuanian for black, for our sweet black kitty.

8. Whe we were three my twin brother and I won goldfish at a church fair
we named them Pixie and Dixie. They we great pets as far as gold fish go but one morning, shortly before we moved mom said they jumped into the toilet and swam out to San Francisco Bay. We tried to to find them for a couple of years. When we were four we got a cat we named Tiger and a dog named CoCo, after CoCo Chanel, grand dad had a women's clothing business, only Irish guy on the west coast in that business as far as any one knew.

12. Marvin
I got a kitten for my 7th birthday and wanted to name him Oreo (he was black & white), but my mom refused, having learned her lesson from allowing my sister to name her cat Fuzzball. So she handed me a baby naming book and told me to pick a real name. I chose Marvin, because Marvin means "friend". (insert awwwwwwwww sound here)

20. A Siberian Husky
. . named Karnavonda's Korkodon King. He had to have a name which lived up to a long and distinguished pedigree, so we spent days poring over maps of Siberia. Called him Korki, though, not King.

One of our 4 present rabbits (started with 5 from the county fair, increased rapidly to 12, now back to 4), is named Mr. Fuzzy. My son named her that when he was 7. She's a lovely critter but not a mister and not fuzzy.

39. The first pet that I ever named myself was a cat named Corky.
I was about 5 years old and I don't know why I picked that name. He was also a sweet black kitty and was apparently content to let me hold him whichever way I managed to pick him up, upside down, rightside up or on his back. He was very gentle with me.
