5. Been there way back in the late 70's

Long concrete pier with little stalls set up in the middle where a thirsty sailor could buy those tiny single serving Johnny Walker bottles for a little nip.

The pier was often pile with crates of weapons guarded by rag clad "soldiers". Very dicey then, down right deadly now.
