What are the iPhone apps that I must have? |
|
I have fandango already, sudoku, and an RPN calculator.
Beyond that, I've not really thought much about what I'd like.
What should I have?

4. MiDoMi is kind of a hoot. |
|
You sing at it and it will identify the song, then offer to download it from iTunes. Unfortunately it does not know opera arias, but it can find most popular songs. Shazam is similar; you can use it to identify songs you hear on the radio or TV. iBird can be used to identify birds and their calls if you like birdwatching. Urbanspoon will locate and describe restaurants; and MiniPiano is fun -- it's a little one-octave piano keyboard.

12. recommend the peterson guide, tho. |
|
there are a couple of other birding apps. the thing i don't like about ibird is that it does not have a list function, which seems easy to accomplish. the id thingie is a little clunky. to be honest, i have not seen/used the petersons, just know it exists, and have always used the paper one. i see they have quite a few bird call apps, and a podcast.

You can choose from a whole bunch of different fart noises you want it to make and best of all it has a timer, so you can set it and hide the phone so the fart goes off at a predetermined time .
