Ahhh, nothing says Christmas like Hemingway Daiquiris while putting up the tree while it snows

I know, Hemingway Daiquiris are more summer, but grapefruit were on sale today so that's what I'm going with.

What a blessed, restful, life-giving, relaxing Friday and now Friday night today is.

Hemingway Daiquiri:

1.5 oz. Light Rum
0.25 oz Maraschino Liqueur
0.75 oz Lime juice
0.25 oz grapefruit juice

Standard classic cocktail directions: shake with ice, serve straight up in a Martini glass.



Anyone who blends this one deserves to die and spend hell watching - I'd like to say stuck in hell watching American Idol, because that would be hell for me, but anyone who blends their daiquiri is more than likely a fan of American Idol, and so the punishment is to spend eternity in hell listening to Beethoven, Bach, Yes, and watching the choreography of Pina Bausch, Twyla Tharp and Chandralekha.
