I loathe the Twilight saga. Am I alone in this?

Saw the first movie...eh, it was okay. I was urged by several people to see the second movie. It was going to be great.

So I did.

Bella languished in teen agony for majority of the movie, hooked up with some Indian wolves who went shirtless a lot, threw herself off a cliff and then took off for a foreign country to save her beloved Edward. Then it ended like a daytime soap opera.

Never again will I put myself through such torture.

What I loathe are the "Twilight Moms" -- 40+ year old women making fools of themselves drooling over teen-age boys. Jeeze-louise.

10. I've seen previews and have no earthly interest in it.

I'll admit, I have loathed it since hearing that 10% of the profits from the Twilight books/movies/etc. will be going to the Mormon church. I'm sure there are good Mormons in the world, but that church is funding a campaign that is making some of us rank below horse shit on the human scale through discriminatory legislation.

So, for my own reasons (disinterest and weary disgust at what the Mormon Church is funding right now), you are not alone in loathing it even though my reasons are different.
