My AirDeck virtual theremin - modular synth - Dj scratch app
Edited on Sat Dec-05-09 11:10 AM by a_random_joel
Here is an update on a project I have been working on over the last year or so. I have finished this project and wanted to share the updated info with you guys.

http://mojosdojo.com/?p=351

This is my AirDeck program in Java which acts as a virtual theremin by accepting Infrared signals from a Wii remote and converting them to pitch and volume. It also includes modular synthesis capabilities, effects and even a scratch sample manipulation feature. Thanks for checking it out!

Cheers,

Mojo

1. Holy crap!
Can't wait to see what you end up doing with this.

Looks like a labor of love and rather time consuming.

Please keep us updated. Thanks.

Cheers!

7. Hi nytemare
I want one also, and that was the genesis of this project.

To get your hands on a good model can be fairly expensive. There are DIY kits you can order online but we're still talking about roughly $300.

Take care and good luck!
