Christmas in Leavenworth
Not the prison town, but in Washington. It was on tv yesterday, and I had to look on the internet to see about it, but I did not think it looked like Kansas.
It is a small (2000) Bavarian style town in the Washington mts. (8000 feet) which has the most extravagant Christmas setting I have ever seen.
How could I live this long and not know of this?
It is worth a visit if you can. On tv, it was snowing, they had many visitors, and dozens of different Christmas displays, and many stores.
Plus much Christmas music, outdoors, live, and very impressive.
