It's actually much, much worse than I'd remembered it to be. And believe me I wouldn't have thought that possible.

In addition to all of the other myriad failings, we get not one but two separate photos of topless anthropomorphic female ducks, And on top of that, Howard's voice is perhaps the worst choice in the history of film, with the possible--but by no means certain--exception of Jar Jar Binks.

My god, what a horrible movie. Even though it would mean that we'd lose Tim Robbins' performance in Bob Roberts and that prison movie, it would be worth it to go back in time to prevent the birth of everyone involved in the film.

I think that I would watch a triple-header of Battlefield Earth, I Know Who Killed Me, and Ultraviolet before I'd sit through another five minutes of Howard the Duck.

2. killed Lea Thompson's career

Plus 80's hair. I actually went to the premiere of this, and afterwards, everyone was like "Bar, where's the bar?"

3. We saw it on the first Saturday after it opened, and we had the same reaction.
And we were 15 at the time.

4. Funny opening scene on Duckworld.
And then the pic sinks straight to the bottom. I'd watch it nowadays only for Lea Thompson, who was cute as hell back then.

17. Howard the Duck was an abomination.
I felt really, REALLY embarrassed for myself just watching it in a theater. People were walking out left and right. A phenomenally stupid idea, horrible script, cringeworthy scenes . . . you just wonder how many pounds of uncut Brazilian cocaine was snorted in THAT meeting to greenlight this bomb.

Cracks me up every time I see it.

Horrible movies: Mr. Nanny and Suburban Commando and that stupid-ass Hulk Hogan wrestling movie.
