I finally gave up and turned the heat on.
I had a good run, but when it started getting down into the low 50's in here at night I had to give in. Goodbye, low power bills.

1. Heat? What is this thing called 'heat'?
It's 28 and we have two space heaters. We can't afford the oil..lol.

3. You could always get a Snuggie.
I see they come in "fashion" prints now, like camel, leopard and zebra. Sadly, the more I look at those things, the more I think that they're not as silly as they appear on the surface.

4. I have a space heater
Right under my desk and it keeps my legs warm. I would love to have one of these:

Kotatsu

used almost exclusively in Japan, is a low, wooden table frame covered by a futon, or heavy blanket, upon which a table top sits. Underneath is a heat source, often built into the table itself.

Generally, a blanket is draped over the frame under the table-top. A person then sits on the floor with their legs (or most of their body if napping) under the table with the blanket draped over the lower body. Though this only heats up the lower body, it can keep one quite comfortable even in an unheated/under-heated room.

7. I'm talking low 50's in my apartment.
It gets cold as shit trying to sleep in that. It's been in the 30's here all week.
