In which I rant again about meds.
So, I'm on my reduced dose of Effexor now.

I am still feeling hypomanic as shit.

And my anxiety is creeping in again.

I actually enjoy hypomania, but I cannot blow 200 dollars in a week, on a student budget, more than once.

And I have another week and a half or so before I see my doctor.

Fuck my life.

1. "Mental Health Care" doesn't much care about our health, does it?
 Hope it works out.

3. Uh-oh!!!
:(

Maybe you have Bipolar II? That is often missed until a anti-depressant triggers mania or hypermania.

4. I seriously think that might be a possibility.
I've never had the spending spree thing before, but I'm pretty sure I've been hypomanic in the past without any drugs helping that along.

The problem is I'm a likeable person when I'm hypomanic! I'm really creative, energetic, and friendly.

Also, this is annoying as fuck because anti-depressants are the first line treatment for GAD. But evidently, they make me batshit crazy. Lexapro made me super agitated and my anxiety shot through the roof. I can't win!

5. I know how you feel.
Bipolarity meds level my moods but sap my energy to the extent that I have three to five good hours a day, and spend the rest, resting, attempting to sleep, but there's just a bit too much nervous energy, so even with sleeping pills I get 3-6 hours of sleep a night (slightly improved on sleeping pills). Gah.
